Privacy
This page explains what southbeach.surf collects when you visit the site or book a session, why, and how to have it removed. southbeach.surf is the official LIND sales partner for South Florida, based at Purdy Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139. Questions go to seth@southbeach.surf.
What we collect
- What you type into the booking form: your name, mobile number, email, the dates you are in Miami, and the options you pick (demo or order, where you ride from, your role, your timeline).
- Where you came from: if you arrived through a link with campaign tags (for example from an ad or a partner post), we save those tags with your booking.
- How the site is used: Google Analytics records pages viewed, buttons pressed, device and browser type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. The Meta Pixel records the same kind of visit and booking events for our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
- What you send us: messages by email, text or WhatsApp.
Why
To reply to you, arrange your session or order, and keep a record of it. Analytics and campaign tags tell us which pages and ads work, so we can improve the site. When you book, we also send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your name, email and phone number so it can tell which of our ads led to the booking. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.
Who handles it for us
- Airtable stores booking details.
- Netlify hosts the website and processes the booking form.
- Google provides analytics (Google Analytics) and our email (Google Workspace).
- Meta measures our ads on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Pixel and Conversions API).
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there.
Each of these handles your information under its own privacy terms. Some of them store data outside the United States.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and similar) to count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. The Meta Pixel sets cookies (named _fbp and _fbc) so we can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can limit this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept as long as we need them to follow up with you and for our sales records. Google Analytics keeps usage data for the retention period set in our account, after which it is deleted automatically.
Your choices
Email seth@southbeach.surf to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We reply within 30 days.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
